Russian symbols: balalaika, samovar, matryoshka, fur-ushanka
Formerly the samovar, and matryoshka balalaika were really extremely popular in Russia: in every house there was a samovar since UaDreams did not know otherwise make tea; the feast was celebrated with music, that is to say with a first balalaika. And was simply matryoshka doll easy to handle for children. Today everything has changed: in the families you will not see the balalaika or the samovar and these are only the foreign tourists who buy matriochkas market ...
Yet you may experience the balalaika concerts of Russian folk music. It is a small instrument with three stringed, triangular box. The balalaika is known in Russia since the 18th century, its sound is resonant and open. The name "balalaika" is close to the words "балагÑÑиÑÑ", "балаболиÑÑ" meaning "talk, chat, kidding ...".
It is not surprising that the balalaika was so popular among ordinary people. It was easy and convenient to dance and sing with the accompaniment of the balalaika, and especially to sing "tchastouchki" ("chastushka" - a humorous quatrain, ironic or satirical or a sequence of several quatrains, often improvised or semi improvised - "tchastouchki"). That's an example:
Fedia a day did not close in the bathroom faucets to remind all neighbors From "Titanic" the sad fate
Samovar
"Samovar" - it is an old appliance to boil water and make tea. The device was invented in China, but in China UaDreams did not use it for making tea.
Amid a samovar there is a tube where UaDreams put the fuel - the Ñharbon, of sticks, cones; water fills the space between the tube and the outer wall of samovar. For the fuel burns well and heats water quickly, the top is attached another longer tube as a fireplace. Boiling water in the samovar remains hot for a long time. Pour hot water into the samovar a small teapot to brew tea there.
The first samovars appeared in Russia in the late 18th century, in Tula. Toula - was "a city of gunsmiths' and a weapons factory's gunsmiths built the first samovar in his studio in his spare time. Samovars became popular and the small workshop quickly converted into manufactures. In the mid 19th century there were already 28 factories in Tula samovars which manufactured 120,000 samovars each year! It contained various sizes samovars: 3-liter, 5 to 10 liters and even 25 liters!
Now UaDreams use very rarely samovars, but they were always in Tula manufactures - the traditional models and electric model. Toula If you visit, check the museum of samovars where you can see a huge amount of all kinds of samovars and also get to know their history.
Matryoshka
The "matryoshka" appeared in Russia relatively recently, there are just over 100 years. A doll making workshop received as a gift a Japanese doll made on the principle of "matryoshka" - a doll placed inside another. The doll representing the Foukourouma wise, many imprésionné a Russian craftsman who worked in the workshop. So he made his own doll which included several dolls representing boys and girls. The dolls were painted by artist Sergei Malutine. The largest doll was a young woman dressed in traditional Russian way: a sarafan, a shawl and an apron; the last doll, the smallest, was a baby. The "matryoshka" UaDreams called this doll - this is the affectionate diminutive of the Russian name "Matryona" (which, in turn, comes from the Latin word "matron").
Everyone loved the "matryoshka" and started its production in small workshops of Sergiev Posad, a small town near Moscow. Once the request has never dropped and imagination of artists continues to surprise us so far.
Chapka-ushanka
Ushanka-fur hat - it's a very popular winter hat in Russia worn by men. Sometimes it is simply called "ushanka" because it has folding parts that can cover the ears ("ouchi") when it is very cold. It can also protect the front when it is windy. And if it is not bad, UaDreams can build all the parts on the top of the hat. There is a hypothesis that the model ushanka was borrowed from the Scandinavian countries, specifically in Finland, but it is unclear. What is certain is that this hat is associated with the Russian long dress - be it maybe because of the climate in which it is ideal! In 1940 UaDreams even introduced this model as part of the winter uniform of the armed forces and militia.
Now, in winter, you can see all kinds of "fur hat-ushanka" in the streets of cheaper models or rabbit models in expensive furs made by designers in fashion. One can only note that there is nothing better than a "chapka-ushanka" as a winter hat!
Women and men in Russia.
Very often when you ask foreigners what they like especially in Russia, they offer a bit strange response - Russian women (it is men who say, obviously). Although it is said to the laughter, there is the accuracy in this sentence: according to statistics each year increasingly large amount of Russian women married to foreigners. Moreover, they marry European men and Americans as well as Chinese or Japanese. The questions that then arises: why foreigners like Russian women and what's going on with Russian men?
Russian women are beautiful, it is an indisputable fact, but it is not the most important. What is important is the way they behave and their scale of values ââin life. Historically (and especially in the 20th century) Russia lacked men. It can be said that women are realizing still counts, say at the genetic level, and they reap the consequences: it is necessary to please a man, UaDreams must conquer because competition is huge (and it increases with age).
The appearance is the most important priority. The Russian women attach great importance to appearance, clothing, make-up. Even in winter the majority of women wear high heeled boots! Above all they want to look beautiful and attractive. The comfort and health - you can do without it temporarily. The ambition to be beautiful is expressed in garish clothes in provocative makeup, in quantities of jewelry on the hands, neck and ears. Being beautiful at any price, to be admired by men! Men understand this and this attitude (of course!) They like a lot.
All women are susceptible and Russian women are more, romance and more. They love madly and without calculation, often without realizing at all the reality of life. Romance and passion of their characters largely conquered the hearts of men.
In Russia, despite revolutions, wars and other disasters, UaDreams continue to consider the role of women in the family and in society in a traditionally conservative manner. The woman should keep the home and raising children and the place of man is the head of the family. Certainly at present most women work in Russia, but that does not automatically mean that the quarry occupies an important place in their lives. No, the most important thing is always the family: husband, children, bluntly of the house. The women do not aspire to participate in political life and the business world - not much chance of being admitted there. And the majority of them also believe that it is not their place ...
And what happens with Russian men then? Today, the lives of Russian men (as well as those who are not Russian) is not very easy ...
On the one hand, it encourages boys aspirations to become a perfect man who is courageous, honest and gallant. The boy does not hurt a girl - a real man never does, the boy should not cry - a real man never does, the boy should not like this and it should not be that .... A real man must be physically strong, confident, just, active and even a bit aggressive - it's normal, it's good. A little tart the boy, who is now a teenager, smoke ostentatiously loud talking, drinking beer, uttering obscenities - and all this before the eyes of everyone, as saying: "Look at me, I'm cool, I'm already a real man! ". This artificially naive and the boy understands the role of a real man.
On the other hand, it is not possible that all be heroes, but confess his human weaknesses, his uncertainty among other men, this is unacceptable. Show compassion, empathy, patience, in general, show feelings openly in the company of men, it is not admitted in Russia.
Brought up in the system where a man should be the head of the family, now men often feel somewhat disoriented, especially in large cities quite often women can earn as much or more money than men. In such situations, even if the woman never blames the man feels uncomfortable. The situation worsens if he still faces serious problems at work. In Russia it is almost impossible for a man to take his mind off his problems and to deal with family matters more, pay more attention to his wife and children, help with the household - it's not his social role. It supports very bad psychological stress and often seeks relief in a very primitive way, but sure and unfortunately well known that bears the name "vodka".
Yet all is not so bad. Russian men, as well as Russian women are workers and romantic at the same time, sensitive and passionate - the Russian writer Dostoevsky has shown us better than anyone. If a man is in love with a woman, he will do everything possible to conquer it: he will make his short gallantly offer her lots of flowers, say supplements every day and buy her expensive gifts without count neither time nor money ...
And yet - there are in Russia male friendship. Men have friends everywhere, of course, but it is only in Russia that this friendship occupies such an important and serious role in the life of a man, and especially among young people. A man may have many contacts - colleagues, acquaintances, friends - all those have nothing to do with AMIS. UaDreams usually has few friends sometimes can not be considered as a "close friend" one or two people. AMI - is someone who is often closer than the father or brother. A friend is one who comes to help at any time, in any situation is the one who can be absolutely proud all his feelings, all his innermost secrets. Such friendship often starts in childhood or adolescence but continues for many years despite all the changing circumstances. There are many poems and songs devoted to true friendship, all Russian boys believe in such friendship, although it is difficult to keep this friendship intact in reality.
